Lynn Richardson received her MFA from the University of Texas (Austin) and holds a BFA (Honors) from the University of Manitoba in Sculpture. She has presented her sculpture in numerous exhibitions throughout Canada, the United States and Asia. One major body of work titled Inter-Glacial Free Trade Agency has been exhibited at the Sheppard Art Gallery at the University of Nevada, Art Gallery of Calgary,YYZ Gallery in Toronto, Canada and at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. Recent museum exhibitions include the Flag Day at the Islip Museum
Richardson has received grants from both the Winnipeg and Manitoba Arts Councils and the Canada Council for the Arts. She was awarded the prestigious Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant, and was included in an exhibition at the Cue Art Foundation in New York. She has been awarded artist residencies at Red Gate Gallery in China, Gallery Se Konst in Sweden, Bemis Center for Contemporary Art.
